DMCA and content removal

Last updated: October 17, 2026

PvGram does not host Instagram content. Stories and pictures are streamed from Instagram's servers when a user searches a public profile. We can, however, block a profile from being searched on PvGram.

Who can request removal

The owner of an Instagram account, or an authorized agent, can ask that the account be blocked from PvGram. You can also report content that you own and that is being shown through a profile you do not control.

What to send

Email hello@pvgram.com with "DMCA" in the subject line and include: the Instagram username in question, a link to the content, a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, your contact details, and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate. A short note from the account itself, such as a story mentioning the request, helps us verify ownership quickly.

What happens next

We review requests within a few business days. If the request is valid, the profile is added to a block list and searches for it return nothing. The content itself remains on Instagram; only its visibility through PvGram changes.

Removing content from Instagram

If the content was posted by someone else without your permission, the fastest fix is to report it to Instagram directly, since PvGram only displays what Instagram makes public. Once Instagram removes it, it no longer appears here either.
